This page explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it for the apps published by Storefront Labs, LLC (Sarasota, FL): Storefront Business Manager (iOS and Android) and Places (iOS and Android). You can request deletion whether or not you still have the app installed.
Option 1: Delete your account inside the app
Open your account or profile settings in the app and choose Delete Account where available.
If you do not see a Delete Account option, your app version does not include it yet — use Option 2 below. The result is identical either way.
Option 2: Request deletion by email (no app required)
If you cannot access the app, or prefer not to use it, email us at hello@storefrontworks.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
In your message, tell us which app your account is for and the sign-in identifier you used: the email address, the phone number, or a note that you signed in with Apple or Google (and the email associated with that sign-in).
How we verify it is you: we will verify the request by corresponding from the email address on the account (for accounts created with a phone number or third-party sign-in, we will ask you to confirm control of that sign-in method). We will never ask for your password, a government ID, or any payment details to process a deletion. If we cannot match your request to an account, we will let you know and no data will be changed.
What happens next: we acknowledge and process verified requests promptly, within the timelines required by applicable law, and we send you a final confirmation when deletion is complete.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete your user record, your favorites, your feedback submissions, and your business memberships; we revoke your sign-in sessions and refresh tokens; and we deactivate any API keys tied to your account. In detail, we delete or disable the following from our production systems promptly on completion; residual copies in encrypted backups roll off on our standard backup cycle:
- Your user account record, including your name, sign-in email address, phone number, and account identifiers
- Your saved favorites (Places)
- Your feedback submissions
- Your memberships in any businesses on the platform
- All active sessions: every refresh token for your account is revoked, so your devices can no longer renew their sign-in and are signed out shortly after
- Any API keys issued to your account, which are deactivated
After deletion completes, your deleted account can no longer be accessed; signing in again with the same email or sign-in method creates a new, empty account. Your personal data is deleted, though some billing and tax records may be retained by us or by Stripe where the law requires it, as described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.storefrontworks.com/legal/privacy-policy.html.
Deleting your Storefront account does not affect your Apple, Google, email, or phone accounts themselves; it only removes them as sign-in methods for our services.
What is not deleted, and why
- Business records. Business profiles, locations, business hours, and Storefront sign registrations belong to the business, not to any individual user account. Deleting your personal account removes your membership and access. If other members remain in the business, the business's own records are unaffected. A business owner can request removal of business data by writing to hello@storefrontworks.com.
- Payment records. Subscription payments for Storefront Business Manager are processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers. Stripe retains transaction records as required by financial and tax law; see Stripe's privacy policy for details.
- Operational records. Service logs and Storefront sign telemetry (such as device heartbeats) may be retained for reliability and security purposes. Retained sign telemetry contains device identifiers for the sign hardware; after your account is deleted, these records are no longer linked to any user account. Log records age out on our standard retention cycle.
Timeline
- In-app deletion takes effect immediately when you confirm it in the app.
- Email requests are processed once we have verified the request with you. We acknowledge and process verified requests promptly, within the timelines required by applicable law, and confirm when deletion is complete.
Deleting some data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove individual items. You can remove saved favorites at any time in the Places app, and you can email hello@storefrontworks.com to ask us to delete specific data (for example, a feedback submission) while keeping your account open.
