1. Purpose

This policy describes Storefront Labs' approach to maintaining business continuity and recovering hosted services following significant operational disruptions.

Planning, not guarantees. Storefront maintains commercially reasonable continuity and recovery procedures but does not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific recovery times unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Objectives

3. Risk Events

Planning considers events such as cloud infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, ransomware, utility outages, natural disasters, telecommunications failures, personnel disruptions, and third-party service interruptions.

4. Recovery Strategy

Storefront may restore services using redundant cloud resources, backups, alternate infrastructure, replacement providers, temporary operational procedures, or other commercially reasonable recovery methods.

5. Backups

AreaGeneral Approach
Application DataBacked up using commercially reasonable cloud practices.
ConfigurationRetained where practical to facilitate restoration.
RecoveryPrioritized according to business impact and technical feasibility.

6. Incident Response

Storefront coordinates technical, operational, and customer communications during significant incidents and may provide updates through email, support channels, or status communications when appropriate.

External dependencies. Recovery may depend on third-party cloud providers, internet infrastructure, payment providers, telecommunications carriers, and other external services outside Storefront's control.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for maintaining local backups of critical business information, protecting credentials, maintaining internet connectivity and hardware, and implementing their own business continuity plans.

8. Testing and Improvement

Storefront periodically reviews and refines continuity and recovery procedures as technology, products, infrastructure, and risks evolve.

9. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated prospectively as business operations and resilience practices change.
